Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning countertops.
Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary.
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a protected environment for both staff and customers.
Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
Stay updated on drink trends, menu offerings, and promotions to enhance guest experience.
Qualifications
Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
Familiarity with bartending techniques, drink recipes, and POS systems is an asset.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
