Job Summary

We are a growing church ministry in Abbotsford, BC seeking a reliable Community Outreach Assistant to help share our ministry vision by distributing flyers and promoting upcoming church programs across local neighbourhoods, schools, and community spaces. This role supports our mission of reaching people with care, connection, and the message of Christ.

Responsibilities :
Distribute ministry flyers to approved locations such as schools, community centres, residential areas, and local gathering spots
Engage respectfully and courteously with school staff, community leaders, and members of the public
Maintain a easy daily log of all locations visited
Take photos of distribution points (where permitted) for ministry documentation
Represent the church warmly, professionally,



and with integrity at all times

Requirements :
Ability to walk for extended periods and work outdoors
Robust communication and interpersonal skills
Punctual, dependable, and able to follow ministry instructions
Familiarity with Abbotsford neighbourhoods is an asset
Previous ministry, outreach, or volunteer experience is a plus

Compensation
$18-$25/hour (depending on experience)
Transit allowance or mileage reimbursement
Performance bonus for meeting outreach coverage targets

Job Type : Part time

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
