This casual, full time long-term position at the Abbie J. Lane Memorial Building requires Grade 12 and completion of the first year of an accredited Therapeutic Recreation program. Ideal candidates will exhibit strong leadership skills and be certified in CPR, with preference given to those with First Aid and Non Violent Crisis Intervention training.

Key Responsibilities:



• Assist in providing health and therapeutic services to patients • Collaborate with the care team and communicate patient-specific information • Implement health promotion initiatives and contribute to care plans • Maintain a supportive and therapeutic workplace for patients • Engage in inter-disciplinary teamwork to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements: • High school graduation plus Therapeutic Recreation coursework • Current CPR certification mandatory • Preferred: First Aid and NVCI training • Robust interpersonal and leadership skills • Knowledge of community resources and competencies in French is an asset
