Job Description - Forklift Operator / Dock Worker

Location: Kingston, ON
Shift/Hours: Monday to Friday, 4:30pm start time approximately 4 hour shift, adaptable to work additional hours if needed.
Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour

Position Overview

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, load, and unload materials within a distribution environment. This role supports daily warehouse functions by preparing shipments, verifying product information, and ensuring inventory is handled accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Operate a forklift to move, load, and unload various materials.
Label shipments and verify product information and destinations.
Build skids and wrap products to prepare them for transport.
Maintain accuracy when handling, staging,



and organizing materials.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety guidelines.
Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned by the onsite supervisor.

Requirements
Valid forklift certification.
Experience working in a distribution or warehouse workplace.
Solid attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work at a fast pace during a condensed shift.
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Effective communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
