As a Physiotherapist, you will report directly to the Director of Quality and Skilled Practice. This role requires a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy and relevant experience in geriatrics or long-term care. You'll oversee assessments, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and educate staff and families on mobility and falls management.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for residents
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with team members to achieve care plan goals




Supervise physiotherapy assistants and facilitate team effectiveness
Lead educational initiatives on falls management and protected handling

Requirements:
Physiotherapy License in Valuable Standing with Nova Scotia College
Previous experience in acute care or geriatrics
Knowledge of falls risk assessment and management
Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel
