Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection as a casual Technician with Dynacare across Stonewall, Oakbank, Beausejour, and Selkirk.
This Technician performs routine laboratory procedures supporting diagnosis and treatment. The work includes venous and capillary collections, urine collections, specimen preparation, and patient testing. You will help maintain quality metrics and create a positive customer experience while working within a team.
Key Responsibilities: Obtain venous and capillary blood specimens
Perform urine collections and specimen preparations
Handle infectious materials according to guidelines
Maintain accurate test and control records
Perform equipment maintenance and calibrations
Requirements: Graduate of a Laboratory Technician program or equivalent experience
Experience with phlebotomy
Ability to multitask within a team environment
Robust attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and independent work abilities
Bring phlebotomy, specimen collection, laboratory accuracy, and communication skills to Dynacare’s Laboratory Health Services Centres.
