The Quotations Specialist prepares and presents quotations for products and projects, then forwards them to Sales for follow up. The work includes Microsoft Office, vendor communication, project records, contract management, and customer or supplier meetings. Gescan operates 29 branches across Western Canada and belongs to the Sonepar Group.
Key Responsibilities: Prioritize quotation requests from customers
Request product pricing from vendors
Prepare project bids and present quotations
Update project records and quotation calendars
Complete order sheets for project administrators
Requirements: High School Diploma required
University or College Diploma considered an asset
Microsoft Office knowledge required
Up to three years of related experience
Product knowledge or industry experience preferred
Use quotation preparation, product knowledge, and vendor communication skills to support Gescan electrical projects and customer requests.
