Principal Worldwide Specialist - GenAI, Data Strategy for AI

As a member of the Worldwide Data Strategy for AI team within Amazon Web Services, you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver overall data and AI strategies to build mind share and broad use of Amazon’s cloud computing platform for Database, Analytics, AIML, and Generative AI across the enterprise customer base. Your responsibilities will include helping to define key customers and industries to target, driving the necessary business and technical relationships with customers and partners to establish current business in those accounts and industries, and enabling the sales team to drive the day-to-day interactions with prospects in order to build long-term business value and opportunity. You’ll also work closely with the product/service teams to help them evolve the products/services and address issues, concerns, and requests from the field.



This role demands an entrepreneurial mindset, with the drive to own and deliver on ambitious goals while maintaining the agility to adapt to rapidly evolving data and AI landscapes.

Key job responsibilities

1. Support the Global Data Strategy for AI team in driving AWS data and AI strategy for customer transformations
2. Lead NAMER-based customer workshops and EBC briefings, present at customer events, and further develop and refine AWS data and AI thought leadership
3. Attend industry trade shows and marketing events to represent AWS and differentiate our value proposition
4. Engage with customer line of business decision makers and data teams to influence AWS wins and accelerate customer business outcomes
