We are seeking an experienced nanny to care for our two boys, a 6-month-old and a 3.5-year-old, on weekends. This role is currently for Saturdays and Sundays, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. We are looking for someone who can grow with our family in a long-term relationship.

The ideal candidate is reliable, patient, and disciplined, with an educational approach to childcare. You should be confident caring for an infant and a preschooler at the same time, keeping both safe, engaged, and on a consistent routine.

Responsibilities

- Provide safe, attentive care for both boys throughout the day
- Manage the baby's feeding (bottles and introduction to solids), naps, diaper changes, and soothing
- Plan and lead age-appropriate learning and play for the 3.5-year-old, such as reading, counting, crafts, and outdoor activities
- Support the baby's development through tummy time, sensory play, and interaction
- Prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks for the boys
- Maintain consistent routines for meals, naps, hygiene, and quiet time
- Use calm, positive discipline and set clear, consistent boundaries for the older child
- Encourage independence and good habits in the 3.5-year-old, such as tidying up, sharing,



and self-care
- Handle light household duties related to the children, including tidying play areas, washing bottles, and children's laundry
- Communicate regularly with parents about routines, behaviour, milestones, and any concerns

Qualifications

- Proven experience caring for both infants and preschool-aged children
- Ability to manage two young children of different ages at once
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- References from previous families
- Commitment to a long-term role
