We are a loving family in Sherwood Park looking for a reliable, nurturing, and experienced nanny to care for our little girl, who will be 8 months old in February 2027.

We are hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys caring for infants and can provide a safe, loving, and stimulating environment for our daughter as she grows and develops.

Position details

This is a live-out, part-time position with two phases:

February to June 2027: 2–3 full days per week, from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing childcare in our home.

June/July 2027 onward: Weekday mornings, approximately 6:00 AM to 9:00–10:... AM, to help get our daughter ready for the day and drop her off at daycare.

We anticipate a gradual transition to daycare in June, so ideally, we would love someone who could continue through July, working 2–3 days per week during the transition to help with daycare drop-offs and early afternoon pickups.

We can offer a minimum of 4 hours per day if that makes the position more attractive to applicants. Once the schedule transitions to morning hours, we would also appreciate some light housekeeping, tidying, and meal preparation after our daughter is ready for daycare and the morning routine is complete.

Requirements and preferences





Previous experience caring for infants, ideally under 1 year old.

Warm, patient, attentive, and dependable.

Able to provide a safe and engaging workplace for our daughter.

Reliable transportation to our home in Sherwood Park.

Comfortable with light housekeeping and meal preparation during the shorter morning shifts.

A car is not required for the job itself, as our home, daycare, and nearby amenities are within walking distance. However, you must be able to get to our home reliably for the early morning start.

Compensation: $22/hour (negotiable depending on experience and the arrangement).
