Experienced Nanny / Housekeeper / Household Manager — Burnaby

Live-in preferred · Private suite with separate entrance

We are looking for a warm, caring and highly capable person to become a trusted part of our family. Our daughter is three years old, and we would love to find our own “Mrs. Doubtfire”—someone who enjoys children, takes pride in running a home and brings a calm, positive presence to everyday family life.

Caring for our daughter

- Provide attentive, loving care, with her safety and well-being always the priority.
- Plan age-appropriate activities, games, crafts, reading.
- Arrange outings, outdoor play and visits to parks and activities.
- Support her routines, independence, good manners and development.
- Help with meals, dressing and getting ready for daycare or activities.

Managing the home

- Take initiative to keep the house tidy, organized and running smoothly.
- Handle family laundry, folding, ironing and putting clothing away.
- Keep bedrooms, kitchen, play areas and shared spaces clean and organized.
- Manage household supplies, grocery lists, shopping and everyday errands.

Cooking and meal preparation

- Plan and prepare healthy, enjoyable meals for the family.




- Prepare our daughter’s meals and snacks.
- Keep the kitchen, fridge and pantry clean, stocked and organized.

Experience and qualities

We are looking for someone affectionate, patient, dependable,with experience caring for young children and managing household responsibilities. Strong references, sound judgment and the ability to notice what needs doing and take initiative are significant.

A driver’s licence is helpful but not required. Our home is close to public transit.

Live-in accommodation: We offer a full private suite with its own separate entrance, providing personal space and privacy. Live-in is preferred, although we would consider an exceptional live-out candidate.
