We're hiring a Conveyancer (Vancouver, BC)

Yaletown Law Corporation is looking for an experienced residential conveyancer to join our real estate group.

What you'll do

- Run purchase, sale and mortgage files from file opening through to closing and reporting
- Prepare and review contracts, title searches, statements of adjustments, Form A/B transfers and mortgage documents
- Handle client ID and verification and source-of-funds requirements under the Law Society Rules
- Coordinate with lenders, realtors, notaries and opposing counsel to keep closings on schedule
- Manage trust accounting entries and closing adjustments

What we're looking for

- 2+ years of BC residential conveyancing experience




- Strong working knowledge of GoVeyance and PCLaw (or similar conveyancing and trust accounting software)
- Familiarity with BC Property Transfer Tax, GST on new construction, s.116 holdbacks and strata purchases
- Organized, detail-focused and comfortable managing a high file volume at month-end
