Bridgewall Systems, Winnipeg, MB (Full-time)

Bridgewall Systems designs, supplies, and installs glass office partitions, doors, and operable walls for commercial interiors across Canada and the US. We're looking for an experienced Lead Glazier to run installs and service work on our local projects and help raise the quality of our field work.

This role starts mainly in the field. Over time, we're hoping to find someone who will move into a split role, with about half their time on site and half in the office supporting operations: service call booking, field measurements, install planning, and coordinating with our PMs and installers.

What you'll do

- Lead installs of glass partitions, framing, sliding and swing doors, hardware, and drop seals
- Read shop drawings, check site conditions, and take accurate field measurements for glass orders
- Direct and train installers and keep the work clean, safe, and on schedule
- Handle service calls and deficiencies, and report back with clear notes and photos




- Coordinate with our office and PMs on materials, scheduling, and site issues
- Over time, take on office duties like scheduling service calls, planning installs, and tracking materials

What we're looking for

- 3+ years of commercial glazing experience (interior glass and storefront are an asset)
- Experience leading a crew or running a site
- Solid measuring and drawing-reading skills
- Comfortable with computers (Outlook, Excel) and interested in growing into an office role
- Reliable, organized, and a explicit communicator
- Valid driver's licence and your own hand tools
