Home Support Worker

Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Support Workers to provide in-home care and assistance to clients in need. Responsibilities

- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Provide medication administration following prescribed schedules and protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Support clients with mobility and transfer assistance, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
- Assist with specialized care needs such as dementia care, hospice support,



or disabilities management
- Follow care plans accurately and document services provided

Requirements

- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, senior care, hospice care, or home caregiving preferred
- Knowledge of patient care, medication administration, and safety protocols
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility needs
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia is a plus
- Strong communication skills and compassionate nature
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; reliability is essential
- Valid background check and ability to pass a pre-employment screening process
- Certification in caregiving or related training is advantageous but not mandatory
