Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and effective Baggage Handler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely handling of passenger baggage and cargo at the airport. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all luggage is loaded and unloaded from aircraft efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Duties

- Safely load and unload baggage and cargo from aircraft, ensuring proper handling techniques are used.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to transport luggage within the airport facility.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate baggage handling operations.
- Maintain organization of baggage in the warehouse area, ensuring items are easily accessible.
- Perform basic math calculations for inventory management and tracking purposes.
- Assist in supervising junior staff members, providing leadership and guidance as needed.




- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and airport policies during all operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety
- Deicing of aircraft

Qualifications

- Previous experience in customer service is preferred to enhance passenger interactions.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including heavy lifting techniques and equipment operation.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact with team members and passengers effectively.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 70 pounds) consistently throughout the shift
- Roughly 3 hours per day
- Travel benefits after 3 months

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.26-$25.00 per hour
