Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our automotive dealership team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. This role requires excellent communication skills, mechanical understanding, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Experience in dealership operations, automotive repair, or mechanic background is highly valued. The Service Advisor will coordinate service appointments, provide accurate estimates, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the service process.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and listen to their vehicle concerns to accurately document service needs
- Explain repair and maintenance options clearly, providing detailed estimates and timelines
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize and schedule repairs efficiently
- Upsell additional services or maintenance based on vehicle needs and customer interests
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper documentation of all financial dealings




- Keep customers informed about the progress of their vehicle repairs or services
- Ensure all work orders are complete, accurate, and comply with dealership standards
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized service area, supporting overall dealership operations

Qualifications

- Previous dealership experience or mechanic background is preferred
- Robust mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
- Sales experience, including upselling services to enhance customer value
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and communication
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes and dealership operations is a plus

Pay: From $17.89 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
