Chérubin Pâtisserie is a new high-end French pâtisserie and bakery opening in Toronto in November 2026.

We are looking for an experienced professional Baker who is already comfortable working independently with artisan bread, sourdough/levain, dough mixing, fermentation, shaping, proofing and baking.

We are specifically looking for someone with several years of professional bakery experience who can take real responsibility for the bread side of our production.

Experience with croissants, laminated yeast doughs, puff pastry and viennoiserie is also highly valued.

Responsibilities

- Daily production of breads and bakery products
- Mixing, fermentation, shaping, proofing and baking
- Maintain consistency in quality, appearance and production standards
- Organize mise en place and production efficiently
- Maintain a clean and well-organized workstation
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Work collaboratively with the pastry and viennoiserie team

What we are looking for

- Professional bakery training




- Previous professional experience in French or European-style bakery
- Strong understanding of fermentation, dough handling and baking
- Reliable, organized and comfortable working in a production environment
- Ability to work independently once trained on our recipes and standards
- Experience with viennoiserie is an asset
- Ability to work in Canada legally

Chérubin is a new business, so we are looking for people who want to contribute to the development of the production team from the beginning and grow with the company.

Expected opening: November 2026

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
