Love Fashion? Love People? Let's Talk Leadership!

Management Trainee – Plato's Closet Ottawa

Up to 2 Full-Time Positions Available

Starting Salary: $51,200 + Bonuses & Benefits

Are you the person who naturally takes charge, brings great energy to a team and always knows what's trending?

Do you love fashion, enjoy social media and get excited about helping a team succeed?

We might have the perfect opportunity for you!

Plato's Closet Ottawa is looking for up to two future retail leaders to join our Management Trainee program.

We're not your typical retail store. We buy and sell the brands and styles our customers love, and every day brings something different. We're fast-paced, fashion-focused and all about great people, great finds and great customer experiences.

We're looking for motivated, outgoing individuals who are ready to turn their leadership skills into a career in retail management.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll work alongside our experienced managers, learning what it takes to run a successful store. That means:

- Leading the team: Coaching, motivating and bringing positive energy to every shift.
- All things fashion: Learning what brands and styles are hot, buying inventory and creating amazing displays.
- Getting creative: Helping with Instagram, Reels, promotions and fresh ideas to get customers excited about shopping with us.
- Making things happen: Learning how to drive sales, manage inventory and keep the store running smoothly.
- Growing as a leader: Getting involved in hiring, training, scheduling and developing a great team.

And yes, you'll be hands-on! Our managers aren't sitting behind desks. They're right in the middle of the action.

You Might Be a Great Fit If You...

- Have previous supervisory or leadership experience in retail,

hospitality or another customer-focused business.
- Love fashion, brands, trends and finding a excellent deal.
- Enjoy social media and have ideas about what makes great content.
- Are outgoing, approachable and know how to bring out the best in people.
- Can stay organized and think on your feet when things get busy.
- Take initiative, enjoy a challenge and aren't afraid to jump in wherever needed.
- Want to learn, grow and build a career — not just find your next job.
- Are available to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings and weekends.

Experience leading a team is important to us, but so are personality, enthusiasm and potential. We're happy to teach you the business!

Reliable transportation between our Ottawa locations is an asset, but owning a vehicle is not required.
