Are you an experienced landscape professional who thrives in a leadership role? Clintar Commercial Outdoor Services is looking for a Landscape Maintenance Supervisor to lead multiple crews delivering high-quality commercial and municipal mowing and landscape maintenance services (Summer & Winter) throughout the Calgary area.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, managing teams, and ensuring operations run efficiently while maintaining exceptional service standards.
Clintar needs a Supervisor to run commercial landscape crews in summer and snow crews in winter. You will lead multiple crews across commercial and municipal sites in Calgary. This is a hands-on field role. Expect early starts, nights, weekends, and storm callouts.
The Work
Summer: Landscape Maintenance

- Supervise 3+ crews on commercial and municipal mowing and maintenance
- Coach and direct Crew Leads and crew members
- Build daily schedules, routes, and job assignments
- Visit sites to check quality, production, and safety
- Fix service issues and keep clients happy
- Track equipment use and arrange repair

Winter: Snow and Ice Management

- Supervise plow, loader, and sidewalk crews during snow events
- Work night shifts and overnight storm events
- Stay on call 24/7 through the snow season
- Monitor forecasts and mobilize crews before storms hit




- Inspect sites during and after events to confirm service levels
- Track salt and de-icer use per site
- Log site conditions and service records accurately
- Respond to client and urgent site issues as assigned

Year-Round

- Onboard, and train seasonal and full time staff
- Enforce safe work practices on every crew
- Coordinate fleet and equipment maintenance

What You Need

- 3+ years supervising commercial or municipal landscape crews
- Commercial snow and ice management experience
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts
- Strong knowledge of commercial landscape and snow equipment
- Ability to run multiple crews and sites at once
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Assets

- Experience on large commercial or municipal contracts
- Production planning and route optimization skills
- Fleet or equipment maintenance oversight
- Landscape or snow industry certifications (SIMA, CNLA, etc.)
- Supervisory or safety training

Know This Before You Apply
Snow season runs October to April. Storms do not follow a schedule. You will work overnight and on short notice when snow falls. Summer brings long days and early starts.
