Can you make $90k at TENTEN?

- Yes. But probably not year one.
- Through a combination of base, commission and bonus.
- Sales is an important part of this position.
- Our social contract is: you help TENTEN meet our goals and we help you meet your goals.
- Typically our GM will accompany you on client visits. Our technical designer will provide support in producing drawings and procurement.

Who are you?

- Your journey to date will ideally include a combination of experience and education in: interior design, sales, cabinetry knowledge and residential construction.
- You are looking for:
- a step up to a design focused team of top tier professionals.
- a chance to work with professional interior design colleagues (part of a team of 3 & our GM is a B. Env. D grad as well)
- an opportunity to grow your personal drive, skills and experience will be valued and admired.
- a chance to work on projects from Lux baths at $100,000 to full home interiors up to $750,000. We will start you with customers from $100 to $200K.
- you only visit with clients who have paid an initial consultation/design fee and passed a screening call.
- you know this business is about meeting client needs by curating options and careful management of details.
- we like 9 to 5 and no weekends. Sometimes client meets will spill past 5.

Design & Sales

- Provide clients the assistance and close deals from design concept to construction
- Prepare detailed concept design drawing packages, floor plans, and functional layouts using Revit.
- Work with clients in pre construction design selecting materials, finishes, fixtures,



millwork layout, and hardware.
- Prepare project contracts and work with GM on project pricing, present proposals, and close sales to achieve individual and team goals.
- Conduct site visits to take accurate measurements and assess spatial constraints and work through site conditions and constraints.
- Manage client relationships and drive projects forward within the large scale phases (1. Design and Sales , 2. Pre Construction Design , 3. Construction Monitoring ) and sub phases.
- Provide design and project information to the project manager.
- Maintain and organize the showroom material and sample library and help to improve the design department and systems.

Qualifications:

- Experience in interior residential design taking projects from concept through to completion is required. 3 year + minimum
- Interior Design education, kitchen design experience, or related residential design background (Bachelor of Environmental Design preferred).
- Proficient in Revit.
- Proven track record in sales and interior design consulting.
- Excellent interpersonal, detail management, and closing skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and work with the end in mind.
- Genuine passion for residential kitchen and bathroom design, spatial planning, and construction.
- Knowledge or Experience in kitchen cabinet construction, spatial layout, or custom millwork is considered a strong asset. Or previous design build process experience.
- Must have a valid drivers license and access to a vehicle.

- Competitive base hourly wage + sales commission + performance bonuses. The hourly wage indicated is your base salary. You can make excellent commission by selling your fabulous designs to our clients! As mentioned previously, you can expect to make $65,000 to $90,00 per year.

We are looking for someone top tier. As such, with a combination of base and bonus, the right candidate should be making $90k+ here. If you are smiling and knocking it out of the park, we will hire your own assistant.

We do interiors - from $100,000 to $1 million. Wall to wall, we are in the ginormous life upgrade business. We have a team of 3 designers. They are the customer face of TENTEN. Joining our customers in a process to their best outcome. (And, loving it!)

Education matters. For designers, we prefer B Env D but will flex for the right candidate. Experience designing with cabinets and/or construction knowledge would be a significant asset.
