Family physician in Aurora looking for a part time administrative assistant for up to 18 hours per week.

- Greet and attend to patients in person and over the phone.
- Professionally assist doctor, staff, visitors, and patients.
- Maintain inventory such as samples,equipments
- Answer all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain confidentiality of doctor, staff, and patient information.
- Schedule appointments
- Checking supplies to ensure that stock levels are adequate and orders are made timeously.
- Communicate medical results to patients under clinical supervision.
- Complete accurate documentation of patient interactions if needed

Requirements;

- Medical Aadministration certification and/or 2 years of experience at a healthcare facility in a medical receptionist role (essential).
- Experinece working with Telus PS Suit EMR is an asset




- Working knowledge of besic medical terminology
- Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational, administrative, and planning skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and react effectively to emergency situations.
- Ability to use discretion while working with sensitive information.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and IT skills.
- Passionate about healthcare excellence.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18.0 – 24.0 per week
