Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing SAP environments, ensuring system stability, performance, and security across diverse platforms. This role involves working with cloud services, virtualization, databases, operating systems, and various networking protocols to support enterprise SAP solutions effectively. Duties

- Install, configure, and maintain SAP Basis systems across on-premise and cloud environments such as AWS and Azure.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and migrations to ensure SAP landscape stability and compliance.
- Manage database administration tasks for SAP systems including SQL, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to operating systems (Windows, Linux), virtualization platforms (VMware, ESXi), and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Configure and manage network components including DNS, VPNs, and other computer networking protocols to ensure secure connectivity.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as Bash, Shell Scripting, Python, T-SQL, PL/SQL, and DevOps tools like Jenkins and Git.
- Implement security best practices for SAP landscapes including user management, authorization checks, and system audits.




- Collaborate with development teams utilizing REST APIs and DevOps methodologies to streamline deployment processes.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides for ongoing support.

Skills

- Extensive experience with SAP Basis administration in diverse environments.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows and Linux.
- Proficiency in database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure for deploying SAP solutions.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies including VMware ESXi and container orchestration such as Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts including DNS configuration and VPN setup.
- Programming skills in Bash (Unix shell), Shell Scripting, Python, T-SQL, PL/SQL for automation tasks.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins for continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
- Understanding of REST APIs for integration purposes.
- Knowledge of JavaScript development is a plus for custom interface integrations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues efficiently.

Pay: $120,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
