Looking for a full-time driving role where you're part of a solid local team?

Targetts Castle Building Supplies is looking for a dependable, safety-minded and motivated Delivery Driver to join our Fredericton team.

This is a hands-on role that combines driving, customer service, material handling and teamwork. You'll help make sure our customers, contractors and install crews get the right materials, in the right place, at the right time.

PAY STARTING AT | $18.00-$22.00 PER HOUR

Starting wage will depend on previous experience, driving history, knowledge of building materials and overall ability to take on responsibility.

All new hires will begin with a 3-month probationary period, followed by a formal performance and wage review based on demonstrated skills, reliability, safety, customer service and overall performance.

DELIVERY DRIVER:

As a Delivery Driver, you'll be responsible for safely delivering windows, doors, building materials and other products to customers, contractors and job sites throughout the Fredericton area.

This role is about more than driving. You're often one of the last Targetts team members a customer sees, so professionalism, communication and care matter.

Responsibilities include:





- Loading and unloading materials safely
- Verifying orders before leaving the store
- Securing loads properly for transportation
- Delivering materials accurately and on schedule
- Communicating professionally with customers and contractors
- Providing delivery updates and arrival notifications when required
- Coordinating with installation crews and job-site teams
- Reporting shortages, damages, delays or customer concerns
- Completing daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Keeping company vehicles clean and organized
- Following Targetts' safety and delivery standards
- Helping protect products from damage during loading, transportation and unloading

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

The ideal candidate will have:

- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience operating delivery vehicles considered an asset
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to safely load, secure and unload materials
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and responsibly

- Ability to perform physically demanding work
