Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) – Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and organized Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join our team on a full-time basis. Our ideal candidate is confident in both chairside assisting and managing the clinical side of a dental practice, with a robust focus on delivering an exceptional patient experience.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative, enjoys keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, and understands that patient education is a key part of providing excellent dental care.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide efficient, high-quality chairside assistance to the dentist.
- Educate patients about their oral health, recommended treatments, and preventive care in a clear, compassionate, and easy-to-understand manner.
- Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their treatment decisions.
- Manage clinical supplies, including ordering, inventory control, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring materials are available when needed.
- Oversee day-to-day clinical operations to ensure the office runs efficiently and stays organized.
- Maintain clinical equipment, operatories, and instruments in accordance with infection prevention and sterilization protocols.
- Ensure clinical rooms are properly prepared and stocked for scheduled procedures.
- Work closely with the dentist and administrative team to support smooth patient flow and efficient scheduling.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records using ClearDent dental software.
- Assist with treatment planning workflows, follow-ups, and patient communication as needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve clinical systems, organization, and overall efficiency.





The Ideal Candidate

- Holds a valid Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) qualification.
- Has previous dental assisting experience, ideally in a busy general dental practice.
- Has experience with ClearDent software or is comfortable learning and using dental practice management systems.
- Has experience ordering dental supplies, managing inventory, and coordinating clinical needs.
- Is confident taking ownership of the clinical side of the practice and keeping daily operations running smoothly.
- Has excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for patient education.
- Is proactive, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to anticipate the needs of the dentist and the team.
- Works well independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
- Takes pride in maintaining high standards of patient care, organization, and professionalism.
