We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team, with a minimum of AMPP CIP Level 1 or 2 .

Responsibilities include:

- Carrying out coating inspections for coating activities
- Surface preparation and coating inspections
- Read blueprints and specifications.
- Maintain the in-house quality documentation
- Ensure the in-house quality program is being followed
- Provide support to coating staff with required paint touch-ups as needed
- Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards.




- Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process.
- Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced.
- Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers
- Operate electronic inspection equipment and software
- Accept or reject finished items
- Report inspection and test data such as weights, temperatures, grades, moisture content, and quantities inspected
- Answer to the Quality Assurance Manager
- Working weekends may be a requested.

Qualifications

- AMPP CIP Level 1 Minimum Requirement
- Completion of post-secondary diploma or degree preferred
- A minimum 3 years of experience with abrasive blasting and coating application.
- A minimum 1 year quality control related experience.
- Must have own transportation as travel to other shop locations is required.
- Must be willing to work over weekends.
- Safety tickets such as Confined Space, Fall Arrest, Ariel Work Platform, and CSTS preferred.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
