Made By Marcus is hiring an Assistant Store Manager at our Hillhurst location. You lead a team in a fast-paced environment. You set the tone on the floor. You turn every shift into a great guest experience. Made By Marcus is a growing company, and this role puts you at the center of that growth.

What You'll Do

- Lead and motivate your team during every shift.
- Support the Store Manager with daily operations and ordering.
- Train new hires and coach existing team members.
- Support shift coverage, conflict resolution, and performance check-ins.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards.
- Manage inventory counts, ordering, and product organization.
- Run accurate cash handling, POS operations, and reporting.
- Run the shop when the Store Manager is away.
- Take part in succession training that builds your leadership, operations, and business skills.
- Build a positive, inclusive environment that reflects the Made By Marcus brand.

Who You Are

- You lead a team on the floor and scoop alongside them.
- You communicate clearly and stay composed under pressure.
- You adapt quick and solve problems on your feet.
- You delegate well and develop the people around you.
- You love ice cream, people, and building community.

What You Need

- Leadership experience in retail or food service.
- Strong customer service and sales skills.
- Proven ability to manage time and multitask.
- Full availability throughout the week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.



This includes peak periods like Stampede and long weekends.
- Willingness to cover shifts and work extra hours when the shop needs you.
