Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Short Order Cook to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of quick-serve menu items, ensuring high-quality food service that delights our guests. Your enthusiasm and culinary skills will help us deliver fast, fresh, and tasty meals in a vibrant pub setting.

Duties

- Prepare and cook a variety of short order dishes according to menu specifications and quality standards
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients efficiently
- Ensure all food handling and safety procedures are strictly followed to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Serve food promptly to customers at the counter or bar area with friendly, attentive service
- Maintain organized workstations, restock supplies, and assist with cleaning duties as needed
- Follow all food safety regulations and proper kitchen protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness




- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service experience in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or pub setting is highly preferred
- Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly for quick-service environments
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Experience with serving customers in a friendly, skilled manner
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience within the food industry or restaurant experience is advantageous
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices is essential

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
