Job Summary

COCO Bubble Tea Oakville is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Baristas to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming workplace, preparing high-quality bubble tea beverages, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant food industry setting, where your skills in food preparation and customer interaction will be valued and developed. The ideal candidate will have previous food service or barista experience and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of bubble tea drinks with precision and attention to quality standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage customer orders efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
- Handle food safety procedures, including proper food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness protocols
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring timely service during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and customer service space throughout shifts
- Manage cash transactions accurately and provide correct change to customers




- Engage with customers to promote products and provide excellent service experiences
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a protected environment for staff and guests

Skills

- Previous experience as a barista or in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Proficiency in POS systems, especially Micros POS, along with cash handling skills
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly attitude with strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
