Role Overview

Animal Care Attendants are vital in supporting all team members and keeping the hospital running smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you will assist doctors and technicians, gain hands-on clinical experience, and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming facility for our patients and clients. Candidate must be able to work day, evenings and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

- Feed, water, and monitor animals according to established care protocols
- Clean enclosures, cages, and surrounding areas to maintain hygiene and safety standards
- Observe animals closely for signs of illness or distress and report findings promptly
- Support veterinary staff with routine health checks and treatments as needed




- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols diligently
- Maintain accurate records of animal health, feeding schedules, and daily activities

Experience

- Previous experience working with animals in a professional or volunteer capacity is preferred
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify changes in animal behavior or health status
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and visitors effectively

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
