SNT Solutions Inc. is an Atlantic Canada dealer for municipal and public-works equipment, including MacLean Engineering and Wille municipal machines, Bagela asphalt recyclers, Epoke spreaders, hot boxes, and SECA hydro vacs and sewer equipment. Our customers are the cities, towns, and public-works departments that keep Atlantic Canada’s roads running, and they count on us to keep their equipment working.

The role

We are looking for an on-road (mobile) mechanic to service and repair our equipment at customer sites across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland & Labrador. You will work independently from a service truck, backed by our Dartmouth shop and parts department.

Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical/control systems on municipal machines, asphalt recyclers, spreaders, hot boxes, and hydro vacs and sewer equipment

Perform scheduled maintenance, pre-delivery inspections, and new-equipment commissioning at customer locations

Complete warranty work and document findings for manufacturer claims

Give operators a basic orientation on recent equipment at delivery





Complete accurate service reports and communicate clearly with customers and the SNT team

Travel throughout Atlantic Canada, including occasional overnight stays

What you bring

Journeyperson certification (Truck & Transport Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Technician, Red Seal preferred) — or equivalent hands-on experience

Strong hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills

Experience with municipal, construction, or agricultural equipment an asset

Valid driver’s licence (Class 5 minimum; Class 3 with air brakes an asset) and a clean driver’s abstract

Your own basic hand tools — specialty tools are provided by SNT

Comfortable working independently, managing your own schedule, and dealing directly with customers
