Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter/Sider to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry and siding tasks on residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction techniques, safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Candidates should possess a broad skill set that includes blueprint reading, framing, siding installation, and other related trades to ensure high-quality craftsmanship and project completion.

Duties

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute projects
- Install siding materials such as vinyl, wood, fiber cement, or metal siding on various structures
- Perform framing work including concrete forming, rebar installation, and drywall setup
- Assist with restoration projects involving repair and replacement of existing structures
- Install cabinets, flooring, tiles, and perform interior finishing tasks such as painting and caulking
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other construction equipment safely and effectively
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install building components with precision using hand tools and power tools
- Conduct heavy lifting as required for material handling and structural assembly




- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes
- Maintain a clean work environment and organize materials for efficient workflow

Skills

- Proficient in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation
- Experience with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry, roofing, and siding application
- Skilled in drywall installation, carpentry woodworking, cabinet installation, flooring installation, tile laying, and construction painting
- Familiarity with CNC machinery and construction estimating is a plus
- Robust knowledge of hand tools and power tools operation including saws, drills, sanders, etc.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on job sites
- Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems is advantageous for versatile project support
- Handyman experience or general construction experience highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in fast-paced construction environments

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
