Wesbell Logistics is seeking a responsible Owner Operator(Driver) team to deliver products/material promptly to job in a safe and timely manner with Competitive compensation rate.

Tuesday-Saturdsay

2:30am start and brings trailer to the airport to pick up air freight with a trailer. Then comes back and reloads to Truro. Couple deliveries with that as well.

Tuesday-Friday about 10.5-11 hours

Saturday starts at 5am to 1pm about 8 hour

Specific Duties and Responsibilities Include:

1. Delivering a wide variety of items and tailgate deliveries
2. Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules
3. Following delivery driving routes and time schedules
4. Loading, unloading, preparing, inspecting and operating the delivery vehicle
5. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
6. Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving
7. Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
8. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
9. Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle

10. Report defects, accidents or violations

Job Requirements & Experience

1.



Hold a valid truck driver's license

2. Proven working experience as a Driver

3. Positive driving record with no recent moving or driving violations

4. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations

5. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)

6. Ability to lift and carry heavy items

7. Excellent organizational and time management skills

8. Minimum 2 years of commercial experience drivers or 1 year with CFTR extensive course
