Job Summary

Duties

- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive and engaging environment
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
- Support clients with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces
- Assist with mobility and transfer activities, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring safety at all times
- Document care provided, observe changes in health or behavior, and communicate updates to healthcare professionals or family members





Skills

- Prior experience in assisted living or home care environments preferred
- Strong patient care skills with a focus on senior and disability support
- Knowledge of dementia care, hospice care, and caring for individuals with disabilities
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when required for mobility assistance
- Excellent communication skills to build trust and rapport with clients and team members
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow medication administration protocols precisely
- Capable of multitasking in dynamic settings while maintaining a positive attitude
