CWB Structural Welder/Journeyman

Job Duties:

- Fabrication of structural steel for the oilfield industry
- Read and interpret drawings and follow welding procedures to produce quality weldments
- Weld to CWB standards
- Weld duties to code, fit and weld structural, CWB certified
- Preparation of materials needed for fabrication
- Pull piping and structuring from supply racks or pallets for welding.
- Perform manual lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.
- Be aware of job numbers and allocate welder time & materials appropriately
- Take direction from Supervisor and Client Representatives
- Work both supervised and unsupervised

Terms of Employment:

- Hours of Work: 10 Hours
- Overtime according to Alberta Employment Standards

- Work is located in Wainwright, Alberta with the possibility of travel

Skill Requirements:

- Journeyman Welder Certification
- Valid CWB Certification
- Current Safety Tickets required: H2S Alive and Construction Safety Training System Certification (CSTS2020)
- Ability to lift up to 23kg
- Proficient in written, spoken and reading English
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean drivers abstract
