Responsibilities

- Prepare and assemble sushi rolls and other Japanese cuisine with precision and attention to detail.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests when necessary, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable.




- Follow recipes and presentation standards to create visually appealing dishes.

Experience

- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with sushi making techniques and knowledge of Japanese cuisine is highly desirable but we can teach you everything as long as you have experience in any other cuisine.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience in the food service industry, particularly in a fast-paced environment, is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $15.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 44 per week
