INDEPENDENT SALES REPRESENTATIVE – COMMISSION ONLY

We’re a fast-growing automotive parts distributor with 12 branches and ambitious plans for what’s next. We’re looking for an independent sales partner who wants to grow with us by expanding our presence across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Southwestern Ontario (SWO).

CHANCE DETAILS

- This is an independent contractor opportunity.
- You’ll have the flexibility to manage your own schedule.
- Territory: Greater Toronto Area (GTA) & Southwestern Ontario (SWO)
- Earnings: 100% commission-based.

MISSION

- Drive sales growth and expand Transit’s customer base by proudly representing the company with its business partners. Build and maintain long-term relationships to increase profitability and market share across the territory, in alignment with Transit’s strategies and values.

DESCRIPTION

- Be an expert in the automotive aftermarket: develop strong knowledge of our products, categories and market to build compelling sales arguments.
- Identify and develop new growth opportunities with both existing and prospective customers.
- Promote Transit’s products and services by highlighting their competitive advantages.
- Stay informed about competitors’ activities and share relevant market insights with Transit.
- Maintain an up-to-date pipeline of opportunities and customer visit reports in the CRM.
- Drive profitable sales while aligning with Transit’s pricing guidelines and target margins.
- Conduct post-sale follow-ups to support customer satisfaction and retention.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong,



lasting business relationships.
- Conduct D-Tailing and merchandising activities in collaboration with our customers.
- Support marketing initiatives, including promotions, advertising campaigns, clearance initiatives and product launches.
- Collaborate with the Inside Sales team and other Sales Representatives.
- Maintain regular communication with the Sales Director regarding territory development, sales performance and business opportunities.

REQUIRED PROFILE

- 5 to 10 years of experience in automotive mechanics, auto parts, or the automotive aftermarket.
- Proven B2B sales experience.
- Proficiency with business tools such as CRM platforms, Excel, Teams and Outlook.
- Strong business acumen.
- Proven ability to proactively develop new business and build lasting customer relationships.
- Strong influencing, persuasion and negotiation skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
