Heart Lake Construction is hiring heavy equipment operators with dozer or excavator experience for civil earthworks projects in Northeastern Alberta. Tell us which machines you operate and describe your relevant project experience.

Projected start date: Mid November 2026, pending weather and project requirements.

Project location: Multiple projects in Northeastern Alberta

Shift: 14 days on / 7 days off

Compensation: Wages based on experience

Accommodation: Camp position

What you bring

· Previous dozer or excavator operating experience in civil earthworks construction.

· Reliable attendance and flexibility to accommodate shift changes.

· Written and verbal English skills to follow instructions, communicate with the crew, and recognize site hazards.

· Ability to perform physical outdoor work in dusty and noisy conditions.

· Valid Class 5 driver's licence and a clean driver's abstract.

What you will do

· Operate dozers or excavators safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures and site requirements.

· Complete daily equipment inspections, checklists, and required documentation before use.

· Fuel, grease, clean, and check equipment fluid levels.



Clean tracks and change attachments as required.

· Perform labourer duties as needed or directed by the site supervisor.

· Construction Safety Training System (CSTS 2020)

· Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS 2015)

· First Aid

· H2S Alive

· Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)

· Ground Disturbance

Pre-employment requirements include drug and alcohol testing, a medical assessment, and an audiogram. Employees must follow the company's drug and alcohol policy throughout employment.
