Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and engaging English Writing and Public Speaking Teacher to inspire students in developing their communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, experience working with children, and proficiency in multiple languages including French, Spanish. This role involves guiding students through effective writing techniques and confident public speaking, fostering their academic growth and personal development in a supportive classroom environment.

Responsibilities

- Design and deliver engaging lessons focused on English writing and public speaking skills tailored to diverse student needs
- Foster a positive learning workplace that encourages active participation and confidence-building
- Incorporate language skills such as French, Spanish, to enhance multilingual communication abilities
- Provide individualized tutoring to help students improve their writing and speaking proficiency
- Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
- Create classroom activities that promote critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication




- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe, respectful learning atmosphere
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices

Requirements

- Proven experience working with children in an educational setting or tutoring environment
- Strong writing skills and the ability to teach effective writing techniques
- Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to inspire confidence in students
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable, especially proficiency in French, Spanish,
- Classroom experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for teaching is essential
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
- Passion for helping students develop language proficiency and communication confidence
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Language Arts, or related field is preferred but not required; relevant experience is valued

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
