Job Summary
We are seeking a FRIENDLY and detail-oriented Veterinary Customer Service Representative to join our veterinary practice. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service while supporting the smooth operation of our clinic. Your responsibilities will include managing appointments, assisting clients with their inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience for both pet owners and their animals. Experience in medical administration is a valued asset, contributing to the overall quality of client care and clinic operations.

Rotating Saturday shifts will be required. Minimum one Saturday shift a month.

Responsibilities

- Greet clients warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments efficiently using our practice management software
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle client inquiries with professionalism and empathy
- Assist clients in completing necessary paperwork and updating medical records
- Provide information about veterinary services, procedures, and products offered at the clinic
- Support laboratory tasks as needed, utilizing laboratory experience to assist with sample collection or processing




- Maintain a clean and organized reception area to ensure a welcoming environment
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure seamless patient care and client communication

Qualifications

- Prior experience in a customer service role within a veterinary or medical setting is preferred
- Comfortable speaking on the phone
- Experience with EzyVet software an asset but not required
- Only applicants with relative experience will be considered
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Compassionate attitude toward animals and pet owners
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification or training in veterinary assisting is a plus
