Duties

- Administer medications accurately according to care plans and document all medication activities diligently
- Support individuals with dementia or cognitive impairments through specialized care techniques that promote safety and engagement
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic and welcoming environment in living spaces and common areas
- Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a sense of community and well-being




- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans and report any changes in residents’ conditions promptly

Skills

- Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home environments, demonstrating familiarity with senior care needs
- Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach toward individuals with disabilities or cognitive impairments
- Knowledge of dementia care strategies to ensure safety and engagement for residents experiencing memory loss
- Ability to accurately administer medications following prescribed guidelines and documentation procedures
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare teams
- Capable of performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, meal preparation, and maintaining hygiene standards
- Flexibility to adapt to changing care requirements while maintaining a positive attitude
