Receptionist – DeStefano Funeral Home
Location: Oshawa, Ontario
Job Type: Part Time
About Us
At DeStefano Funeral Home, serving the Durham Region is more than our profession — it’s our calling. As a family-owned funeral home, we’ve built our reputation on compassion, professionalism, and a deep commitment to our community.
Our modern, purpose-built facility was designed with families in mind — from ground-floor accessibility to welcoming visitation suites and thoughtfully designed reception spaces. Every detail reflects dignity, comfort, and care.
We are a small but powerful team. Every person here matters. Every contribution makes a difference. We rely on one another, hold ourselves to a high standard, and take pride in the environment we create for the families we serve.
The funeral profession has a natural ebb and flow. There are moments of intensity and emotional weight, and there are quieter periods. During both, our expectation remains the same: professionalism, composure, and initiative. When services are not actively taking place, we remain productive — ensuring our facility is immaculate, organized, and ready at all times.

We are seeking a qualified, compassionate, and highly organized Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for families, clergy, vendors, and community members.
This role requires emotional intelligence, discretion, and exceptional attention to detail. You will help ensure that every interaction — whether by phone, email, or in person — reflects the care and professionalism DeStefano Funeral Home is known for.
