The Evergreens Foundation, Kikinow Elders Lodge - Elder Services & Support Night Attendant

Permanent Position: 4 Shifts On / 4 Shifts Off Rotation
Hours: Overnight from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am with a Night Premium.

We are seeking a compassionate, adaptable and culturally respectful Permanent Full-Time Elder Services & Support Associate. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy meaningful interaction,



value community, and are comfortable undertaking various tasks and duties throughout their shift.

A Little About the Role

This position blends Elder engagement, hospitality, cleanliness, and operational support into one meaningful role. The successful candidate will contribute to ensuring Kikinow’s Lodge feeling like a true home environment, where Elders are known by name, respected, and supported with dignity and compassion.

Duties may include a combination of:

- Housekeeping & Lodge Environment
- Porter Services & Support
- Laundry & Linen Care
- Night Attendant

This is a physically active role involving standing, walking, lifting, bending and general mobility throughout the shift.A Little About What We Offer

- Experience in seniors housing, hospitality, housekeeping, recreation or food service is an asset — but not required.
- A willingness to learn and support multiple departments is essential.

Requirements

- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Explicit Vulnerable Sector Check required.
- Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Unionized environment: Wages and conditions per the International Union of Operating Engineers - Local Union No. 955 Collective Agreement.
