Heavy Haul & Specialized Trailer Sales Representative

We are seeking an experienced, technically minded Heavy Haul & Specialized Trailer Sales Representative to represent our trailer brands. This customer-facing role suits someone who understands heavy-haul equipment in the field and builds lasting customer relationships.

You will specify, quote and close specialized trailer sales. This requires understanding each customer's application, loads, operating environment and transportation needs, then translating them into the right trailer type, axle configuration, capacity, dimensions, suspension, deck and options. You must also recognize when engineering input is required.

You will prepare accurate, competitive quotations covering equipment, specifications, options, pricing and delivery expectations. You must understand and confidently explain the specification and value, not simply provide a price. You will manage opportunities from inquiry through specification, quotation, negotiation, purchase order and delivery, while following up, addressing issues, protecting margins and converting qualified opportunities into profitable orders.

You will work closely with customers, dealers, Engineering, Product Development, Manufacturing and Parts to solve problems, capture requirements and identify product opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

· Represent the company with professionalism, honesty and integrity.

· Build strong relationships with customers and industry contacts.

· Understand heavy-haul applications, specialized equipment moves and contractor operating requirements.

· Discuss technical requirements confidently with experienced operators and engineers.





· Help customers select the right trailer configuration for their application.

· Prepare accurate sales specifications, proposals, pricing and delivery expectations.

· Identify product improvements and new-product opportunities from customer feedback and market observations.

· Collaborate across Engineering, Product Development, Manufacturing and Parts.

· Maintain knowledge of competitors, regulations, equipment and changing customer requirements.

· Travel extensively to customers, dealers, job sites, industry events and trade shows.

What We Are Looking For

· Technical credibility and practical heavy-haul or specialized transportation experience.

· The knowledge, preparation and judgement to earn the confidence of technical customers.

· Strong communication, relationship-building and customer skills.

· Commercial curiosity and the ability to recognize market opportunities.

· Confidence discussing trailer design, configurations, payloads and operating requirements.

· Honesty, professionalism and sound judgement.

· Self-motivation, independence and willingness to travel extensively.
