Paramount Components is growing fast, and we're looking for general labourers to fill a number of positions in our buffing, tapping, assembly and hardware areas, If you are looking for precision sheet metal work and want to be part of a company where you're valued — not just a number — we want to hear from you!

Shifts Available

Day Shift — Monday to Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm

Afternoon Shift — Monday to Thursday (4x10s), 12:00pm–10:30pm — includes a $1/hr shift premium on top of your agreed wage

Evening Shift —Monday to Friday (4x10s) 3:00pm-1:30am includes a $2/hr shift premium on top of your agreed wage

About the Role

You'll operate general duties in our buffing, tapping, hardware and assembly departments using hand tools, basic machinery to produce precise, high-quality metal components. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong mechanical aptitude and an eye for detail, who takes real pride in getting the details right.

What You'll Do

- Set up and operate our tapping stations
- Buff parts of sharp edges
- Grind and buff welded parts
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machining requirements
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality
- Perform routine cleaning and organization of your area
- Assist with material handling using cranes, forklifts, or plasma cutting tools as needed
- Monitor machine operations for safety and efficiency, adjusting as needed to optimize performance
- Conduct quality checks on finished parts and document inspection results
- Follow safety protocols,



including proper PPE use and adherence to all safety guidelines

What We're Looking For

- Good atitudes
- reliablity
- willingness to start slow but grow into something great
- Comfort with hand tools, calipers, and basic math for measurements and calculations
- Forklift experience is helpful
- Sharp attention to detail with a strong focus on safety and precision
- Comfort working independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, running multiple mahcines (up to 3) alongside a helper
