NCN Thompson Bus Ltd. is expanding its freight and logistics operations in Winnipeg. We are looking for a reliable, organized, and motivated Freight Delivery & Logistics Associate to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for local freight pickups, sorting, timely deliveries, and coordinating with dispatch to ensure efficient and reliable service.

Key Responsibilities

- Freight Sorting & Handling: Receive, sort, organize, load, and unload freight safely and efficiently.
- Freight Pickups: Collect shipments from designated pickup locations throughout Winnipeg.
- Last-Mile Deliveries: Deliver freight to customers and businesses within scheduled timelines.
- Time-Sensitive Shipments: Prioritize urgent deliveries and promptly report delivery completion times to dispatch.
- Customer Freight Collection: Visit various client locations to receive and collect outgoing freight.
- Dispatch Coordination: Maintain regular communication with dispatch regarding pickups, deliveries, delays, and shipment status.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate pickup and delivery records, including proof of delivery.
- Safety & Customer Service:



Follow protected handling and driving practices while maintaining professional relationships with customers.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Valid Manitoba Class 5 driver's licensce with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in freight delivery, courier services, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Good knowledge of Winnipeg roads and surrounding areas.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle freight safely.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to excellent customer service.
- Comfortable using mobile applications for delivery tracking and communication.
