Job Summary

Firehouse Subs is looking for friendly, dependable, and motivated Team Members to join our restaurant team in Whitby, Ontario.

As a Team Member, you will play an important role in delivering excellent customer service, preparing high-quality subs, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming restaurant environment. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in being part of a team.

No previous restaurant experience is required. Training will be provided to help successful candidates learn the role and our operating procedures.

Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome guests and provide friendly, courteous, and efficient customer service.
- Take customer orders accurately and process payments when assigned.
- Prepare subs and other menu items according to established recipes and procedures.
- Follow food safety, food handling, and sanitation standards.
- Maintain clean and organized workstations, kitchen areas, equipment, and dining spaces.
- Restock ingredients, packaging, and other supplies as needed.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to support smooth restaurant operations.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and workplace safety requirements.
- Assist with opening, closing, and other daily duties as assigned.
- Ensure orders are prepared accurately and served in a timely manner.

- Availability to work scheduled shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.

Previous food service or customer service experience is an asset but is not required. On-the-job training will be provided.

Pay: $17.95-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week
