Abrams Towing is a trusted and growing towing company proudly serving Cambridge and the surrounding areas. We provide reliable towing, roadside assistance, and vehicle recovery services. Our team is committed to professionalism, safety, and customer satisfaction, and we’re looking for a Call Taker who shares those values.

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday- Friday

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive and prioritize incoming service calls from customers, law enforcement, and roadside assistance providers
- Dispatch drivers to job sites efficiently using GPS and dispatch software
- Monitor driver locations and progress to ensure timely responses
- Communicate with customers, providing updates and estimated arrival times
- Maintain accurate records of calls, dispatches, and services provided
- Coordinate with drivers, mechanics, and management to ensure smooth operations
- Handle emergency situations calmly and effectively

Requirements:





- Previous dispatch or customer service experience (towing or transportation industry is an asset)
- Strong knowledge of Cambridge and surrounding areas
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in high-pressure situations
- Comfortable using dispatch software, GPS systems, and computers
- Flexible availability (including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed)
