Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our fast- paced kitchen. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, assisting with meal preparation, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about food and eager to contribute to a fast- paced deli/ cafe style environment.

Responsibilities

- Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food handling and safety procedures are followed in compliance with health regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Support the team in food service during peak hours, ensuring timely delivery of meals to customers.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management when supplies need replenishing.




- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure a cohesive workflow and positive work environment.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to food preparation and safety.

Skills

- Knowledge of kitchen operations, including meal preparation techniques and food service practices.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills, with a willingness to help colleagues as needed. We are a team!
- Experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Basic cooking skills and a passion for culinary arts .
