Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Heavy truck and equipment mechanic to join our agile team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy machinery and trucks to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help keep our operations running smoothly, supporting various sectors such as construction, agriculture, and industrial manufacturing. Duties

- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics on heavy equipment including dump trucks, 550 trucks, and farm machinery using schematics and electrical testing tools.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on lawn equipment
- Oil changes on trucks and equipment
- Greasing all heavy and light trucks as well as equipment
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques to disassemble, repair, or replace faulty parts.
- Maintain detailed service records, update maintenance logs, and follow manufacturer guidelines for assembly and repair procedures.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, hydraulic components, and mechanical failures to identify root causes efficiently.




- Operate heavy equipment safely during testing or repair procedures to verify proper functioning post-maintenance.
- Provide excellent customer service by clearly communicating repair needs and maintenance schedules to clients or team members.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic with dealership or industrial sector background preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of farm machinery, lawn equipment and automotive systems.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams.
- Skilled in welding, assembly work, electrical troubleshooting, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Experience operating heavy equipment is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer-focused attitude.
