Growth is central to the Controller role at BMI 1975 Inc., a new state-of-the-art hog

processing plant near Kincardine. You will help guide financial operations through more

than 300% growth and serve as the President and Vice President’s key resource for

financial decision-making.

We are looking for a highly skilled CA/CPA Controller to lead financial operations and

strengthen financial governance across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring

advanced accounting expertise, proven leadership, and a strong focus on accuracy,

compliance, and strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

 Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting

 Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management

 Maintain internal controls and financial policies

 Ensure compliance with Canadian GAAP and Ontario regulatory requirements

 Manage audits, tax filings,



and external financial reviews

 Deliver financial analysis and strategic recommendations to senior leadership

 Supervise accounting staff and support continuous improvement

Qualifications

 CPA or CA designation required

 5–10 years of progressive accounting or finance experience

 Strong knowledge of Canadian GAAP and regulatory compliance

 Experience in manufacturing, agriculture, or industrial operations is an asset

 Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills

Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year

Licence/Certification:

- Chartered Qualified Accountant designation (preferred)
- Chartered Accountant designation (preferred)
